How many tourists visit Victoria each year?

Over 31.85 million tourists visited Victoria in 2024 (year ending December).

Of these, around 29.14 million were domestic visitors, showing an approximately 2% increase from 28.46 million in 2023.
There were also about 2.71 million international visitors, up from 2.05 million in the previous year, but still 14% below the 2019 level of 3.14 million.

Tourists spent A$31.87 billion in Victoria in the year ending December 2024.

Domestic visitors contributed about A$22.82 billion, which is virtually unchanged from A$22.84 billion in 2023.
International visitors spent around A$9.05 billion, marking a 41% increase from the A$6.40 billion spent in 2023 as overseas travel rebounded.
