Driving a Campervan around Split

The A1 motorway ends at the Dugopolje exit. A class II camper pays approximately €27 in tolls when driving from Zagreb to this point.
The Old Town area around Diocletian's Palace does not allow motor vehicles. Use the large car park beside Poljud Stadium for day parking instead.
Overnight parking on streets inside the city limits is not allowed. Choose an official campsite or motorhome stop.
Port traffic is heavy in summer. Arrive at least one hour before ferry departures to Brač, Hvar or Vis.
LPG (Autoplin) fuel stations are available along the D8 coastal highway but are rare on the nearby islands. Plan to refuel before taking a ferry.
