Cairngorms National Park, Loch Lomond, and The Trossachs National Park are free to enter. However, Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park has Camping Management Byelaws that apply in Camping Management Zones between 1 March and 30 September each year. There are motorhome/campervan permit areas within these zones at Firkin Point, Inveruglas and Three Lochs Forest Drive, where purchasing a permit allows you to stay overnight.

Permits can be booked online up to four weeks in advance and cost £4.50 per motorhome/campervan per night. Parking overnight at Three Lochs Forest Drive also has an additional £3 vehicle access charge, and you can stay in the same permit area for a maximum of three nights.
